In the Field: Preventing The Last Straw

"What Straw stirred in me wasn’t sadness, it was deep reflection. Reflection on untold stories. On the weight of mental health struggles across communities. On the broken systems that overlook, fail, or forget the very people they were created to support." Yesterday, LaDonna Collins led the CASA network and friends in a discussion about the new Netflix film, Straw. Today, she shares some reflections with us on the film and how being a consistent, kind presence in the lives of others can make all the difference.
